       Founder  Loretta Jones, developed a love of visuals growing up on Staten Island's Grymes Hill(shown here from across the NYC harbor). Originally reported online as the highest land elevation along the eastern seaboard. Aside from the beautiful sky itself and lighting the sun up there provided at different times of day, even the stars at night, views enjoyed Manhattan skyline, Brooklyn with the Verrazzano Bridge, other parts of Staten Island, New Jersey and the Poconos not to mention the water itself combining fresh and salt water into a blue mix from the distance as tugboats, sailboats, occasional ships and tankers with what was the only ferry at the time, the Staten Island Ferry that she happily recommends riding to anyone unfamiliar with its one-hour to-and-fro with request you enjoy its outer decks for best views. 

       The Bayonne Bridge of lights in a semi-circle appeared at first to Loretta as a friendly Feris wheel in the distance. On an uppermost elevation along the hilltop was a tennis court where all sides of the views were available. Active, yes, with a different kind of bustle though the city stride itself was acquired when Loretta was just a toddler accompanying her parents to Manhattan and she herself worked in the financial district at the very beginning of Water Street at just 15 in a high school co-op program for a year commuting like in the later movie 'Working Girl'. She went on to create a career in what was her favorite task in any of her work and even her decorating at home and later for clients, the visuals. Visual Merchandising was something she did even as an executive with Bloomingdale's right out of college. With a housewares chain Lechter's, that Loretta opened, staffed and ran a premiere 'largest store in Soho', she further honed the one-of-a-kind skills of creating a certain focus through a foundational VISION inspiring positive tangible results like her track record 30% sales gains for many companies to come.. 

       Now , as NY Gold Tours CEO founder and former NYC licensed tour guide, she uses this know-how to bring VISION Strategy through proprietary products and services, a shopping company Gold de la Locale and its GDLL brands with modern and foresight driven concepts and practical science-based and neurologically astute pragmatics for her clients. A goal of betterment for the world through betterment for her corporate, tech, academia, sciences, U.S. governmental(if awarded) and individual by invitation or application, customer. In 1989 a degree was earned for Merchandising Marketing & Managementin the strictly business end of fashion at then Tobe-Coburn. The school was dropping the Wood part of their name and was in Greenwich Village next to Tower Records. It's moved to midtown east and changed its austere course offerings to suddenly include medical training and went back to using 'Wood' now Wood Tobe-Coburn, somehow offering medical in addition to hundreds of added courses not of the Tobe-Coburn School. There were few choice select classes none of which were chosen by students, and they were useful, unique and timeless. Things change.


Loretta started a NYGT VISION Strategy smartMEET (back again this May '26 and beyond yet on hiatus through September '26)   in the old Tobe-Coburn building where when she lived on 13th St between 6th and 7th in what were the more 'upscale'(closest/convenient) of 2 dorm solutions the school gave brochure for, being actually a Salvation Army residence for studying and single women not homeless but able to pay a weekly rent, she had a roommate just arrived from Australia studying modern ballet converting from classical and was typical of the type of serious resident the community and chandelier, glass-enclosed elegant library, doorman building wanted. Running at Washington Square Park at 5 AM, working not 1 but 2 jobs while in college, the demands were high but so are Loretta's standards for effectivity, sensibilities, innovation and delivery.
